We are looking for an experienced Tenders Manager with strong exposure to the Power Transmission & Distribution industry and extensive experience in handling tenders for utilities, government departments, PSUs, EPC contractors and major electrical industry customers.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete tendering function, from tender identification and evaluation through submission, clarification, negotiation and order finalization.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the complete tendering and bid management function.
- Identify and evaluate tenders from Power Utilities, TRANSCOs, DISCOMs, GENCOs, PSUs, EPC contractors and private utilities.
- Review NITs, technical specifications, BOQs, eligibility requirements, commercial conditions and contractual terms.
- Conduct bid/no-bid evaluation based on technical, commercial and business considerations.
- Prepare tender submission strategies and ensure timely and compliant submission of bids.
- Coordinate with Management, Technical, Quality, Production, Finance and Commercial teams for preparation of tender documents.
- Lead preparation of technical compliance statements, deviations, declarations, undertakings, PQ documents and techno-commercial offers.
- Review commercial requirements including EMD, PBG, security deposits, payment terms, LD clauses, warranty, price variation and other contractual conditions.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of bank guarantees and other financial/tender-related documents.
- Monitor and manage tender submissions through various e-procurement platforms.
- Handle tender queries, corrigenda, technical clarifications and customer communications.
- Coordinate with customers during technical evaluation, commercial evaluation and negotiations.
- Maintain a structured database of tenders, competitors, pricing, results and upcoming opportunities.




- Analyse tender results and develop strategies to improve tender conversion and win rates.
- Develop and maintain a database of utility specifications, approved makes, customer requirements and historical tender conditions.
- Coordinate with Business Development for upcoming projects, customer requirements and market opportunities.
- Support vendor registrations, product approvals and pre-qualification with utilities, OEMs and EPC companies.
- Guide and review the work of the Tender Executives and build a systematic tendering process.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all submitted tenders for future reference.
- Prepare regular MIS reports, tender pipeline reports and management dashboards.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in tendering, preferably in the Power T&D; / Electrical Equipment industry.
- Strong experience handling utility, government, PSU and EPC tenders.
- Good understanding of electrical industry products such as surge arresters, insulators, transformers, switchgear, cables and substation equipment.
- Strong understanding of tender terms, technical specifications and commercial conditions.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF editing tools.
- Robust documentation and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and strict submission deadlines.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a tendering team.
- Knowledge of major e-tendering/procurement portals is essential.
- High attention to detail and ability to identify commercial and technical risks in tender documents.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
