- Manage overall tempered glass production and achieve daily/monthly production targets.

- Strong knowledge of heat treatment, heating, quenching and cooling processes for glass tempering.

- Control critical process parameters such as heating temperature, heating time, quench pressure, cooling, roller speed and glass thickness.

- Ensure compliance with required tempered glass quality and safety standards.

- Monitor glass flatness, fragmentation, roller marks, distortion, breakage and optical quality.

- Troubleshoot process and machine-related problems and take corrective actions.

- Optimize tempering parameters for different glass thicknesses, sizes, coatings and product types.

- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Planning and Production teams for smooth operations.

- Monitor machine efficiency, downtime, rejection and material utilization.

- Train and guide operators on tempering process, heat treatment parameters, quality requirements and safety.

- Maintain process records, production reports, rejection analysis and parameter-setting records.

- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality,



energy consumption and rejection reduction.

- Required Technical Knowledge

- Strong practical knowledge of glass heat treatment and thermal tempering.

- Knowledge of horizontal glass tempering furnaces and quenching systems.

- Understanding of heat transfer, temperature distribution and thermal stress development in glass.

- Knowledge of HS/ESG tempered glass, low-E/coated glass tempering and different glass thicknesses.

- Ability to identify and resolve defects such as breakage, anisotropy, roller wave, bow, warp, surface defects and uneven fragmentation.

- Knowledge of relevant glass tempering quality standards and testing requirements.

- Experience & Qualification

- 10–15 years in glass processing/tempering, preferably with experience as Tempering HOD / Manager / Senior Process Engineer.

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Glass Technology or related field preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
