- To support development team and implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to ensure smooth software delivery.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
- Write scripts and automation using Python/Groovy/Java/Bash.
- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering Team to ensure that new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices.
- To run Proof of Concepts for current technologies to improve existing software stacks/infrastructure.
DevOps Engineer Requirements
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Have 3+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
- Experience in administering Linux environment.
- Experience in code deployment tools (Puppet, Ansible,
and Chef).
- Strong working knowledge in DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins and an artifact store.
- Able to maintain Java and Python based web applications. Knowledge in deploying microservices is a plus.
- Familiar with a cloud IaaS like Amazon Web Service.
- Have a working knowledge of SQL databases.
- Knowledge with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience in Big Data domain is a plus.
- Must possess an open mind and problem-solving attitude.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
