Reporting To: Assistant Manager Subtitling Coordination

Job Summary

We are looking for a Team Lead – Subtitling Coordination to lead and supervise a team of Localization Coordinators. The role involves people management, team development, work scheduling, utilization, performance management, project monitoring, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise Localization Coordinators within the assigned team.
- Set team objectives, communicate expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Manage team performance, productivity, utilization, morale, attrition and development.
- Conduct regular team meetings and 1:1 sessions.
- Handle coaching, performance feedback and development planning.
- Coordinate with the Translator Support team for linguist pool health and capacity planning, including rare languages.
- Manage conflicts proactively and facilitate suitable resolutions.
- Plan and manage work allocation, scheduling and rescheduling based on business requirements and absenteeism.
- Monitor project status, capacity and resources to ensure client deadlines are met.
- Track KPIs, SLAs, Productivity, Quality and OTD metrics and address negative trends.
- Ensure process changes,



policies and required training are communicated and followed.
- Facilitate effective shift handovers when required.
- Monitor team email compliance and ensure timely responses to community support and freelancers.
- Ensure user payments are addressed promptly with no pending actions.
- Drive continuous improvement in coordination, communication and team processes.
- Mentor Subject Matter Experts and support their development.
- Support management responsibilities when required.

Candidate Requirements
- Graduate degree is mandatory.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Positive time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience in team handling, performance management and operational coordination will be relevant.
- Interest in the media industry is preferred.
