ROLE OVERVIEW

SymphonyAI is seeking a Supply Chain Management Specialist [Functional] to support US retailer rollout programs from its Bangalore delivery team. This is a customer-facing implementation role requiring close collaboration with retail business stakeholders, product teams, and technical implementation teams throughout the full project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in demand planning, inventory optimization, store operations, and master data management, along with the ability to lead discovery workshops, design future-state processes, and drive successful solution deployment. You will work directly with US retailer teams to understand their business requirements and translate them into configured, validated SCPO solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Functional Discovery and Process Mapping

Support discovery sessions and business workshops with retail customers to understand current-state processes, business challenges, and operational goals.

Contribute to future-state supply chain planning process design aligned with customer requirements and SymphonyAI SCPO capabilities.

Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows with structured clarity.

SCPO Configuration and Solution Support

Configure and support supply chain planning modules across demand planning, replenishment, inventory optimization, and related planning functions.





Support setup and validation of master data, planning parameters, and business rules.

Work closely with technical teams to ensure the solution aligns with functional requirements throughout each phase.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with customer teams across merchandising, planning, supply chain, store operations, and IT functions.

Support customer stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle - from discovery through go-live and stabilization.

Help manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Testing, UAT and Go-Live Support

Support test planning, test execution, and user acceptance testing activities.

Coordinate defect tracking, issue resolution, and validation of business processes.

Assist with go-live preparation, deployment activities, and post-go-live stabilization support.

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer

Develop process documentation, solution design documents, and training materials for customer and internal use.

Support knowledge transfer sessions for customer teams and internal stakeholders.

Identify and document opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.





QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

All criteria below are required at the screening stage.

1. Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.

2. Supply Chain and Retail Domain Experience (5+ Years)

3-6 years of hands-on experience in supply chain planning, retail operations, or enterprise software implementation.

Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory optimization, store operations, and master data management.

Solid knowledge of retail supply chain operations and end-to-end planning workflows.

3. Implementation and Workshop Experience

Experience supporting customer discovery workshops, gathering business requirements, and documenting processes.

Familiarity with solution configuration, UAT coordination, go-live execution, and post-implementation support.

Exposure to enterprise SCM or retail planning platforms (SymphonyAI SCPO or equivalent preferred).

4. Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with SQL and Excel for data analysis, validation, and operational reporting.

Ability to work with planning parameters, master data structures, and business rules in a configuration context.

5. Communication and Stakeholder Skills

Ability to operate confidently in a customer-facing environment across multiple concurrent stakeholders.

Solid problem-solving, analytical, and written communication skills.

Comfortable facilitating workshops and presenting findings to both business and technical audiences.
