About the Role:

The Supervisor cum Project Coordinator manages the daily functioning of the bakery unit inside the prison and acts as the key coordination point between the training team, prison administration, and the project office. This role combines on-ground supervision of production and hygiene standards with broader project coordination — scheduling, reporting, stakeholder liaison, and documentation — to keep the unit running smoothly and the project on track.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily bakery unit operations, ensuring production and training run on schedule
- Coordinate between the Master Trainer, and prison authorities
- Manage stock, procurement, and inventory of raw materials and equipment
- Monitor hygiene, food-safety, and quality standards
- Maintain attendance, production, and stock records
- Track raw material usage, wastage, and product costing
- Liaise with prison authorities on entry/security protocols and logistics
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, visits, and follow-ups within the prison
- Act as point of contact for vendors, officials,



and prison staff on unit matters
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues (staffing, material shortage, equipment breakdown)

Requirements:

- Graduate in Hotel Management (preferred); background in food production or commerce also acceptable
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a supervisory or operations role, ideally in a bakery, kitchen, or production unit
- Valuable organizational, record-keeping, and coordination skills
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Good communication skills; Kannada and English preferred
- Willingness to work within prison premises and comply with entry/security protocols, including rotational shifts
- Basic computer literacy for maintaining records and reports

Shift & Schedule: Rotational Shift, 9 hrs/day (within unit operating hours of 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
