Experience

Expertise in structural design, analysis, and project execution. Hands-on experience in designing protected, sustainable, and cost-effective structures, while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Job responsibility

- Perform detailed engineering analysis of steel structures, employing a blend of hand calculations, structured spreadsheet models, and advanced computational tools to ensure design accuracy, safety, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and support cost estimation activities to facilitate informed decision-making and efficient project planning.
- Should be proficient in designing basic structural connections, including both welded and bolted types such as base plates, gusset plates, and surplussing standard engineering practices and relevant design codes.




- Ensure adherence to IS codes, Euro codes, and other relevant standards.
- Work independently to deliver design work packages and support junior staff in their career development.
- Develop designs that increase the ease of fabrication, transportation and construction of our product.
- Knowledge on air pollution control equipment like ESP, Fabric filter and weather enclosure design would be an added advantage.

Required skill set

- Proficiency in structural analysis software STAAD.Pro. Familiarity using Autodesk applications such as AutoCAD and Navisworks. Knowledge on Mathcad & Smath will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IS codes, building regulations, and construction practices. Knowledge of International Codes related to Structural engineering - EURO(EN), BS.EN, ACI, AISE Standards.
