Job Summary

PCR Buildtech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Store Manager to manage and coordinate store activities from the Head Office for multiple construction project sites.

The candidate will be responsible for central monitoring of materials, inventory, stock records, material movement, and coordination with Store Keepers posted at various project sites.

The role requires strong knowledge of construction materials, inventory management, documentation, MIS reporting, and coordination with project/site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and monitor store activities at multiple construction project sites from the Head Office.
- Supervise and guide Site Store Keepers and ensure proper implementation of company store procedures.
- Maintain centralized records of site-wise stock, receipts, issues, transfers, and closing balances.
- Monitor material movement between Head Office, suppliers, and various project sites.
- Ensure timely submission and verification of Material Receipt Notes (MRN/GRN), Material Issue Notes, Stock Transfer Notes and other store documents.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly/monthly inventory and stock MIS.
- Monitor critical and high-value construction materials and identify shortages, excess stock, slow-moving and non-moving materials.
- Reconcile physical stock with records and investigate discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Purchase Department, Accounts and Site Store Keepers.
- Monitor material requirements received from sites and coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely procurement.
- Ensure proper documentation and authorization before material receipt, issue and transfer.
- Establish standardized store procedures and documentation across all project sites.
- Conduct or coordinate periodic physical stock verification at project sites.




- Track material consumption against project requirements wherever applicable.
- Maintain proper records of returned, damaged, rejected and surplus materials.
- Ensure proper storage, identification and preservation of construction materials at sites.
- Prepare management reports highlighting stock position, shortages, excess inventory and material movement.
- Follow up with Site Store Keepers for pending documentation and discrepancies.
- Support management in improving inventory control and reducing material wastage/loss.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of construction materials and site stores management.
- Strong understanding of inventory control and stock reconciliation.
- Good knowledge of Excel / MS Office.
- Experience in preparing inventory and MIS reports.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple construction sites remotely.
- Valuable communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping ability.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Knowledge of ERP/store management software will be an advantage.
- Should be capable of independently managing centralized store coordination.

Qualification Graduate / Diploma in any relevant discipline.

Candidates with a qualification or experience in Stores, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Civil Construction or Materials Management will be preferred.

Experience

510 years of relevant experience in construction/project stores management, preferably with experience handling multiple construction sites from a Head Office.

Preferred Candidate The ideal candidate should have experience working with a construction company where materials are being procured and consumed across multiple project locations and should be capable of controlling the complete store reporting system from the Head Office.
