We are hiring two senior Business Analyst QA hybrids to each own a business area end to end from the first requirement conversation through to sign-off, testing, and go-live. This isnt a BA role with some testing tacked on, or a QA role that occasionally reviews requirements: youll lead the requirements conversation for a release, then pivot to hands-on test planning and execution for the same release, because thats the same job. Youll be the person business stakeholders call directly, and the person engineering trusts to have already thought through the edge cases before a story reaches them.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis

- Serve as the point of contact between business stakeholders, developers, and QA for your assigned business area.
- Facilitate requirement discovery sessions, backlog grooming, and story reviews.
- Draft user stories and acceptance criteria, and secure stakeholder sign-off before handoff to development.
- Perform impact analysis for new requirements and change requests before they enter the backlog.
- Look for opportunities to standardize a process across business areas rather than defaulting to one-off customization.

Test Planning & Quality Assurance

- Own test planning for your assigned area: test scenarios, test cases, test data, and coverage against acceptance criteria.
- Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across releases, enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Validate data and process flows across integrated systems (ERP, SAP, or equivalent enterprise platforms).
- Log clear, reproducible defects with business impact, severity, screenshots, and reproduction steps, and retest fixes before closure.

UAT & Release Support

- Prepare UAT scenarios and test data, support business users through UAT,



and triage issues as they come up.
- Run smoke testing after deployments to confirm critical functionality before wider release.
- Support production validation and stabilization immediately after go-live.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

- Manage expectations across business, engineering, and QA, and surface risks before they become blockers.
- Communicate status, defect trends, and release readiness clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Keep stakeholders updated proactively rather than waiting to be asked.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

- Keep requirement, test, and release documentation current as work happens, not as a catch-up exercise.
- Maintain traceability from requirements through to test coverage.
- Flag recurring defect patterns and push them toward a permanent fix instead of a repeated workaround.

Ownership & Mentoring (Senior)

- Independently own end-to-end delivery requirements through UAT for an assigned business area with minimal oversight.
- Lead sign-off conversations directly with business stakeholders rather than routing them through someone else.
- Mentor the 24-year BA/QA hires on requirement-writing and test design.
- Make the call on a quick workaround versus a proper fix and be able to explain that call to both engineering and the business.




- Represent your business area in cross-team planning and prioritization conversations.

Technical Skills:

- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or in a role that combined both.
- At least one full project cycle owning requirements and testing for the same feature or release, not just one side of it.
- Experience with Salesforce or a comparable enterprise CRM/ERP platform is a strong advantage.

Non-Technical Skills:

- Genuinely comfortable owning both requirement-writing and hands-on testing if one of the two feels like someone elses job to you, this role wont fit.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (or an equivalent ALM tool), SQL, and structured test case design.
- Strong written and verbal communication — you’ll run stakeholder conversations directly, not through an intermediary.
- Comfortable making a judgment call and defending it, rather than escalating every decision upward.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
