- Procurement Sourcing
- Handle end-to-end procurement of engineering items (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, MRO items).
- Source and develop new vendors for cost optimization and quality improvement.
- Float RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate prices, terms, and contracts.
- Vendor Management
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers.
- Maintain vendor database and performance records.
- Conduct vendor audits and performance reviews.
- Purchase Order Management
- Prepare and release purchase orders (POs).
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers for dispatch schedules.
- Cost Control Negotiation
- Achieve cost savings through negotiation and strategic sourcing.
- Analyze market trends and price fluctuations.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Coordination Inventory Control
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and stores teams.
- Ensure availability of critical materials to avoid production downtime.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Compliance Documentation
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies and audit requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation (POs, invoices, contracts).
- Support internal and external audits.
