Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Panel Design Engineer experienced in EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical to design electrical control panels, MCC/PCC panels, PLC panels, and automation systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical drawings, selecting components, developing panel layouts, and coordinating with manufacturing and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical schematics and control circuit drawings using EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Design MCC, PCC, PLC, VFD, control, and automation panels.
- Develop:
- Single-line diagrams (SLD)
- Control circuit diagrams
- Power circuit diagrams
- Panel GA/layout drawings
- Terminal diagrams
- Cable schedules
- BOM/MTO
- Wiring and connection diagrams
- Select electrical components such as MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, SMPS, terminals, and control devices.
- Prepare panel enclosure layouts, mounting plate layouts, and component positioning.
- Perform basic load calculations, cable sizing, protection selection, and control-circuit design.
- Generate and maintain EPLAN project documentation and reports.
- Review drawings according to customer specifications and applicable electrical standards.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, testing, commissioning,



and project teams.
- Modify drawings based on engineering/customer feedback.
- Support panel testing and resolve wiring/design-related issues.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical.
- Understanding of electrical control and power circuits.
- Knowledge of PLC, VFD, motor control, instrumentation, and industrial automation.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of IEC standards and electrical safety practices.
- Good understanding of panel components, wiring, terminals, and cable management.
- Ability to prepare accurate BOMs and technical documentation.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Relevant experience in electrical panel/control-panel design preferred.

Preferred Experience

- Experience designing panels for industrial automation, machines, MCCs, PLC systems, or process plants.
- Experience with EPLAN macros, device tagging, cross-referencing, reports, and project templates.
- Familiarity with electrical component databases and manufacturer parts.
- Knowledge of panel manufacturing and testing procedures.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
