Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop industrial furnaces, SPM and material handling equipment.

- Prepare and review 2D & 3D drawings, including GA, assembly and fabrication drawings.

- Perform mechanical design calculations for equipment and components.

- Select appropriate materials, standard components and bought-out items based on application requirements.

- Prepare and review BOM (Bill of Materials) accurately as per drawings.

- Apply GD&T;, tolerances and engineering standards in drawings.

- Prepare technical design documentation, calculation sheets and project records.

- Coordinate with PPC, Purchase, Sales, Production and Project teams for project execution.

- Understand customer/project requirements and provide suitable engineering solutions.





- Handle and guide a team of 2 - 3 design engineers/draftsmen and allocate daily design activities.

- Monitor team work and ensure timely completion of drawings and design deliverables.

- Review design modifications and maintain proper drawing revision control.

- Provide technical support to Production, Purchase and Project teams during manufacturing and assembly.

Software Knowledge:

- AutoCAD Valuable knowledge of 2D drafting and detailing.

- 3D CAD Software – Part modelling, assembly and drawing preparation.

- CRO Software – Working knowledge.
