Job Summary

We are looking for Software Engineer II to join our Application Development team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-performance, and resilient applications that power our core business. You will contribute across the full stack, working with modern front-end frameworks, robust backend services, cloud-native AWS infrastructure, and relational databases.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services using React

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and company and industry standards.

- Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and learning from peers.

- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, assessing issues in real time to identify root causes and implement effective fixes.

- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical planning.

- Design and optimize relational database schemas using PostgreSQL

- Own features from development through deployment, with guidance from senior engineers.

- Contribute to testing efforts, including writing unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.





- Develop backend services and APIs using Python or Go

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile development processes.

- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and spec-driven workflows to accelerate delivery and maintain code quality.

- Document technical designs, processes, and code to ensure clarity and maintainability.

Technical Requirements

- Proficiency in React in writing web development code.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway)

- Understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation) is a plus.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

- Familiarity with large-scale data processing technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).

- Experience building or maintaining data transformations (ETL) using SQL, Python.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting and coordinate with Onsite team on daily basis.

- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools.
