We are looking for a passionate and engaging Social Science Faculty – Online Educator to create and deliver high-quality digital learning experiences for students.
The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual knowledge of Social Science and Sociology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain concepts in a simple, engaging, and student-friendly manner. Experience with PPT and Google Slides for creating digital learning content is required.
Candidates preparing for UPSC/Civil Services examinations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging online classes for Social Science-related subjects.
- Explain concepts clearly using examples, stories, current affairs, and real-world applications.
- Develop structured lesson plans and digital teaching content.
- Create engaging PPT presentations and Google Slides for online classes.
- Prepare class notes, practice questions, quizzes, and other learning resources.
- Ensure content is accurate, curriculum-aligned, and appropriate for the target student audience.
- Use digital teaching tools and technology effectively to improve learner engagement.
- Identify students' learning gaps and adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
- Stay updated with relevant social, political, historical,
and economic developments.
- Collaborate with academic and content teams to improve learning material and classroom experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sociology / Social Science / related discipline.
- BA (Hons.) in Sociology preferred.
- 1–2 years of teaching/online education/content development experience.
- Robust conceptual understanding of Social Science and Sociology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with online teaching and digital learning platforms.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint (PPT) and Google Slides.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them effectively.
- Strong presentation and student-engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- UPSC/Civil Services aspirant preferred.
- Experience teaching Social Science, Sociology, or UPSC-related subjects.
- Experience creating educational videos or digital learning content.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and educational technology.
