About the Role
We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media & SEO Manager to build Micron's online presence from the ground up. You will own our content strategy, grow our organic reach, and make sure schools across India discover us online before they discover our competitors. This is a high-ownership role — you'll be building something, not just maintaining it.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Plan, create, and schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
Create content specifically targeting school principals, directors, and administrators
Design creatives using Canva or similar tools (basic design skills required)
Manage comments, DMs, and community engagement
Run and monitor paid ad campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) — optional but preferred
Track performance — reach, engagement, follower growth — and report weekly
SEO & Content Marketing
Conduct keyword research targeting school management, EdTech, and regional searches
Write or oversee SEO-optimised blog posts, landing pages, and website content
Optimise on-page SEO — meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal linking
Build backlinks through outreach, directories, and partnerships
Monitor rankings using tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or Semrush
Improve local SEO so schools in Punjab find us on Google first
Strategy & Reporting
Develop a monthly content calendar aligned with school calendar events
Track website traffic, keyword rankings, and social growth metrics
Share clear monthly reports with insights and next steps
Stay updated on trends in EdTech and school marketing

1–3 years of experience in social media management and/or SEO
Fluent in English — written and spoken (mandatory)
Punjabi / Hindi fluency is a strong advantage for regional content
Working knowledge of Canva, Google Analytics, Search Console
Basic understanding of Meta Business Suite
Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Ubersuggest) — even free versions
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Prior experience in EdTech, SaaS, or B2B content is a strong plus
Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory)
Video editing for Reels / YouTube Shorts (CapCut, DaVinci Resolve)
Experience running Google Ads
WordPress or basic website editing
Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
