Responsibilities

Build Snowflake data platform databases schemas warehouses roles integrations

Enforce RBACsecurity models masking policies and data sharing standards

Manage performance tuning query optimization clustering micropartitioning

Automate provisioning monitoring and incident handling using SQL APIs Terraform and CICD pipelines

Support and optimize DatabricksSnowflake integrations for ETLELT and ML workloads

Ensure Databricks and Snowflake interoperability by managing external tables Iceberg format and hybrid storage strategies

Monitor and optimize credit usage storage costs and warehouse efficiency FinOps practices

Ensure compliance with Data privacy and governance frameworks

Experience Required

8 years in data engineering database Administration or data platform engineering

4 years of handson Snowflake administration in enterprisescale environments





Solid expertise in Snowflake internals warehouses DCRquery optimizer clustering

Good exposure to Databricks clusters Delta Lake and notebooksbased pipelines

Proficiency in SQL PythonShell scripting and automation tools Terraform CICD

Experience with monitoring incident management and platform governance

Knowledge of data governance and security compliance frameworks

Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work in fastpaced agile environments

Proactive selfdriven and detailoriented

Nice to Have

Snowflake SnowPro Advanced ArchitectData Engineer certification

Handson with streaming technologies Kafka

Experience with FinOps dashboards for credit and cost optimization
