SITE ENGINEER – RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION

Location: Perungudi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 3–5 Years

Qualification: DCE / B.E. Civil Engineering

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Joining: Immediate Joiner / Short Notice Period Preferred

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Engineer – Civil to execute and supervise residential construction projects. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to handle clients and site-related activities effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ü Supervise and monitor day-to-day residential construction activities at site.

ü Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

ü Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and site workmen.

ü Handle client interactions professionally and provide regular project updates.

ü Monitor manpower, materials and work progress to ensure timely completion.

ü Check measurements, workmanship and quality of civil construction activities.





ü Coordinate with architects, consultants and other project stakeholders.

ü Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.

ü Maintain daily site records, work progress reports and relevant documentation.

ü Ensure compliance with safety practices and project requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS ü Robust knowledge of conventional residential construction.

ü Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

ü Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.

ü Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site execution.

ü Strong coordination, supervision and problem-solving abilities.

ü Ability to manage site activities independently and meet project deadlines.

ü Proficiency in MS Office and basic construction-related software will be an advantage.
