- Design and execute test scenarios for ETL, database, data migration, and data validation projects.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Validate data across multiple databases and cloud platforms.
- Perform source-to-target data validation during data migration and integration projects.
- Use Python scripts to connect to databases and perform automated or semi-automated data validation.
- Validate data presented in Power BI reports and dashboards against underlying source data.
- Perform Web and API testing as required.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and client teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, defect triage, and other QA activities.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, execution reports, and defect documentation.
- Support end-to-end testing across applications involving multiple integrations.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, issues, and defects effectively to stakeholders and clients.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a strong data-focused QA professional with excellent SQL skills, hands-on ETL/Database testing experience, and the ability to work across multiple technologies and applications. Solid analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and client-management skills are essential.
