We are looking for a U.S.-licensed CPA with strong hands-on experience preparing and filing U.S. individual and business tax returns.

This is not a bookkeeping-only or general accounting position .

The ideal candidate has prepared, reviewed, and filed tax returns for individuals, corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and other business entities, and is comfortable owning the tax process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and file U.S. federal and state tax returns
- Prepare and review Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065, 1040, 2553 , and related schedules and forms
- Handle individual, corporate, and business tax matters
- Review financial statements and QuickBooks data for tax preparation
- Identify potential tax issues, deductions, and compliance requirements
- Communicate with clients regarding tax documents, questions, and filing requirements
- Assist with tax planning and year-end tax preparation
- Review tax returns for accuracy and compliance before filing
- Sign tax returns where CPA signature/preparer authority is required




- Work directly with the client and provide practical tax guidance

Must have:

- Active U.S. CPA license
- Hands-on experience preparing and filing U.S. tax returns
- Solid experience with 1120, 1120-S, 1065 and 1040
- Experience working with both individual and business taxation
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Experience with professional tax preparation software such as ProConnect, CCH, Lacerte, UltraTax, or similar
- Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state tax regulations
- Ability to independently prepare, review, and file tax returns
- Excellent written and verbal English communication

Preferred
- Experience with ProConnect
- Experience with Karbon, or similar tax practice management platforms
- Experience working directly with U.S. small-business owners
- Experience with tax planning and business advisory
- Experience handling multi-state tax returns
