You will build and maintain the mobile apps we ship for clients: React Native apps that talk to the same backends we build for the web, released to the App Store and Play Store, and kept running well after launch.
What you will do
- Build features end to end in React Native: UI, native modules where needed, and the API layer they talk to.
- Ship to the App Store and Google Play, and handle the release process end to end.
- Diagnose and fix platform-specific bugs across iOS and Android.
- Keep performance, offline behaviour and app size in check as the app grows.
- Demo your work to clients every week and act on what you hear.
You might be a positive fit if
- You have 5+ years of experience building and shipping production React Native apps.
- You have taken at least one app through a full App Store and Play Store release, including updates.
- You are comfortable with TypeScript, native modules, and integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs.
- You can work independently and communicate clearly in writing.
Nice to have
- Experience with Expo, push notifications or in-app purchases.
- Some native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience.
