Roles & Responsibilities

Independently drive software testing efforts to ensure products meet all functional and non-functional requirements across intended environments.

Design, create, and execute detailed test cases and test plans based on requirements from the development and product teams.

Perform in-depth root-cause analysis of bugs/issues found and clearly report findings to the development team.

¢ Gather and analyze logs and configuration details for bugs, providing complete context to the development team.

¢ Set up and maintain test environments for functional, regression,



and integration testing.

¢ Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by customers in live production environments, providing logs, configuration details, and reproducible steps to development.

¢ Contribute to building and improving test automation coverage for repetitive/regression scenarios.

¢ Review test cases and bug reports of junior team members and provide constructive feedback.

¢ Collaborate closely with development and product teams during planning to flag testability and quality risks early.

¢ Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech / BCA) in IT/Computer Science.

Valuable to Have

¢ Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, 3-way handshake, DNS, etc.)

¢ HTTP protocol (structure, status codes, authentication, etc.)

¢ SSL/TLS protocols

¢ Routing

¢ SMTP

¢ Working knowledge of testing tools JMeter/Postman

¢ Exposure to automation frameworks (Selenium, PyTest, or similar)

¢ Linux fundamentals (command line navigation and basic features, file system, permissions,

networking, etc.)

¢ Windows (permissions, services, file system, Event Viewer, etc.)

¢ Active Directory (domains, structure, permissions, group policies, etc.)
