- Hilal Technology is looking for a Senior Procurement Executive with hands-on experience in IT and Technology procurement, covering both IT Hardware and Software.
- The role will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities including IT product sourcing, RFQs, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiation, purchase order processing, P2P operations, vendor management, order follow-up, delivery coordination and cost optimization.
- This position requires a procurement professional who understands the IT technology ecosystem and can independently manage procurement activities from requirement and sourcing through order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities IT Hardware & Software Procurement

- Source and procure IT hardware, software, licenses, subscriptions and other technology products based on business and project requirements.
- Work with IT OEMs, distributors, resellers, system integrators and technology suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and availability.
- Review product specifications, part numbers, configurations, licensing requirements, warranty and commercial terms.
- Evaluate quotations based on pricing, availability, lead time, payment terms and other commercial conditions.

Sourcing & Commercial Negotiation

- Manage RFQs, quotation collection, comparison and commercial evaluation.
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms, delivery timelines and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved procurement terms.
- Maintain a strong understanding of supplier pricing, availability and market conditions.

Supplier & Vendor Management

- Identify, evaluate and onboard suitable IT suppliers and channel partners.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with OEMs, distributors, resellers and technology suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, commitments and service levels.
- Resolve supplier-related commercial, delivery and order issues proactively.

P2P & Purchase Order Processing

- Manage the complete Procure-to-Pay cycle from requirement/PR through RFQ, quotation evaluation, approvals and PO creation.




- Process purchase orders accurately through ERP systems, including product details, quantities, pricing, delivery terms and payment terms.
- Coordinate with suppliers for PO acknowledgement, order confirmation and fulfilment.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, quotations, supplier documents and purchase orders.

Order & Delivery Management

- Track supplier order status, committed ETAs, shipments and delivery schedules.
- Follow up proactively with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of hardware, software and licenses.
- Identify and escalate delivery risks, shortages, order discrepancies and delays.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials and licenses are delivered as required.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Logistics, Operations, Warehouse and Business teams.
- Understand business and project requirements and translate them into procurement actions.
- Provide regular updates on procurement status, pending orders, supplier commitments and delivery risks.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval requirements and commercial guidelines.

Mandatory Requirements

- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Purchasing / Sourcing within the IT / Technology industry.
- Hands-on experience in procurement of IT Hardware and Software is mandatory.
- Experience working with IT OEMs, distributors, resellers, system integrators, channel partners or technology suppliers.
- Strong understanding of IT procurement, sourcing, RFQ and commercial processes.
- Hands-on experience with the complete P2P process and ERP-based purchase order processing.
- Robust supplier negotiation,



vendor management and follow-up skills.
- Demonstrated experience in cost optimization and obtaining competitive commercial terms.
- Good understanding of IT product part numbers, configurations, software licenses, subscriptions and renewals.
- Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

- IT / Technology procurement experience is mandatory for this position.
- Candidates whose experience is limited to general procurement without hands-on exposure to IT Hardware and Software procurement will not be considered.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate practical experience in sourcing, RFQ handling, supplier negotiation, P2P/PO processing and delivery follow-up within an IT procurement environment.

Preferred Experience

- Experience managing multiple IT distributors and channel partners.
- Experience handling project-based or urgent IT procurement requirements.
- Exposure to software licensing, subscriptions and renewals.
- Experience negotiating price, credit terms, delivery timelines and supplier commitments.
- Experience in IT technology trading or distribution environments.
