Senior .NET Developer (Engineer II, Software Engineering)

About the Role

PlumoAI is hiring a Sir .NET developer (A Technology Consultant with hands-on experience in .NET application development, enhancement) on a contract basis for one of our US-based clients. You'll build and maintain web applications and back-end services on a modern .NET stack, working with a distributed team that ships in Agile sprints. This is a fully remote role, so we need someone who communicates clearly, owns their work, and doesn't wait to be told what to do next.

What You'll Do

- Design and build web applications using C#, .NET Core and Entity Framework, with a focus on performance, scalability and clean, maintainable code.
- Build secure back-end services and APIs with .NET Web API, including business logic, data access, authentication and authorization.
- Write SQL queries and data access logic using Entity Framework or other ORMs, keeping data integrity and performance in check.
- Integrate front-end and back-end components along with third-party APIs and services.
- Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests,



and take part in code reviews.
- Work with designers, testers and product owners through Git-based workflows and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Join requirement discussions, question vague requirements, and help break them down by business priority and value.
- Keep up with new tools and practices, and share what you learn with the team.

Must-Have Skills
- 4 to 7 years of hands-on .NET development with C#
- Strong working knowledge of .NET Core
- Experience building microservices
- SQL Server
- Elasticsearch
- Kafka and RabbitMQ
- Logging and monitoring tools like Kibana

Good to Have
- Exposure to Angular, and willingness to work on it when needed
- Prior experience working with US or global remote teams

Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
