Job Information : The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will lead and coordinate a mechanical design team supporting MCAD and PLM (Teamcenter) activities. The role involves technical leadership, ECN ownership, cross-functional coordination, and ensuring high-quality design and PLM data delivery across projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of MCAD and PLM engineers
- Plan and assign design and PLM tasks, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery
- Review team outputs including 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and PLM data
- Act as technical escalation point for MCAD and PLM issues
- Oversee 3D modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawings using SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD
- Guide concept development, design changes, and standardization activities
- Ensure designs meet engineering, manufacturability, and quality standards
- Own and govern EWR, ECR, and ECN workflows in Teamcenter
- Ensure proper MCAD–PLM integration,



including resolution of missing references
- Conduct design and data reviews after PLM loading
- Ensure accurate part structures, BOMs, revisions, and metadata
- Oversee SAP Intake Form creation and validation during ECN cycles
- Coordinate PLM–SAP integration and ensure data consistency and compliance
- Review and approve SAP setup for parts, BOMs, and revisions
- Act as primary interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, Sourcing, MDM, Planning, and Marketing teams
- Drive ECN discussions, follow-ups, and closure across stakeholders
- Support audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Key requirements
- Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using , Creo – Part Design/Assembly/Surfacing/ Cable routing
- Support concept development and design updates across the product lifecycle
- Perform MCAD–PLM integration, including resolving missing references and validating data
- Conduct design and data reviews after loading into Teamcenter

Manage EWR, ECR, and ECN workflows in Teamcenter
