*Role & responsibilities :

- We are looking for Senior Executive in Freight Forwarding & Japanese coordination.

*Handle end-to-end Import & Export Freight Forwarding operations. *Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, airlines, CHA / Customs Brokers, transporters, ports / terminals and overseas agents.

*Manage shipment booking, documentation, customs clearance, cargo movement and final delivery.

- Prepare and verify shipping documents including B/L, AWB, BOE, Invoice, Packing List, VGM, DO and related documents.

*Monitor ETD / ETA, cut-off dates and shipment status, and take necessary action in case of delays or operational issues.

*Obtain and compare freight quotations and coordinate with carriers and service providers on freight rates and local charges.

*Maintain accurate shipment records, costing and billing-related information.

*Handle shipment-related problems, claims, delays, demurrage / detention and other operational escalations.

- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian Customs, international trade and company procedures.





*Support communication and coordination between Japanese and Indian staff.

Preferred candidate profile

Japanese Language

Japanese interpretation/Transltion/JLPT

Hands-on experience in Ocean(FCL/LCL) and Air Freight

Valuable understanding of Incoterms 2020, HS Codes and international trade procedures

Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook.

Experience with Freight Forwarding ERP / TMS will be an advantage Experience working with a Japanese company, Japanese customer or Japanese management team.

Required Skills

*Working knowledge of ICEGATE and related import / export processes. *Experience coordinating with Shipping Lines, Airlines, CHA, *Transporters, Ports / Terminals and Overseas Agents .

*Experience in shipment tracking, ETD / ETA monitoring, cut-off management and delivery coordination

*Good customer communication and coordination skills The ability to understand and communicate Japanese business instructions accurately.
