We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Embryologist to join our IVF & Fertility Centre in Faridabad. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a clinical IVF laboratory and sound knowledge of assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures.

The Senior Embryologist will be responsible for performing and supervising embryology laboratory procedures, maintaining high laboratory standards, ensuring proper documentation, and coordinating closely with fertility specialists and the clinical team to support quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day functioning of the embryology laboratory, including handling of gametes and embryos, IVF/ICSI procedures, embryo culture, cryopreservation, quality control, documentation, and laboratory coordination.

The role requires strict adherence to established laboratory protocols, infection-control practices, patient confidentiality, and applicable ART regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine and advanced IVF laboratory and embryology procedures.
- Perform oocyte identification, assessment, handling, and preparation.
- Carry out IVF and ICSI procedures as per established laboratory protocols.
- Conduct fertilisation checks and monitor embryo development.
- Perform embryo grading and assist in embryo selection according to clinical and laboratory protocols.
- Perform embryo and oocyte vitrification and warming procedures.
- Handle semen preparation and other andrology laboratory procedures as required.
- Assist with embryo transfer procedures and laboratory preparation.
- Maintain accurate identification, traceability, and documentation of gametes, embryos, and samples.
- Maintain appropriate culture conditions and monitor laboratory equipment, incubators, temperature, gases, and other critical parameters.
- Follow stringent quality control,



quality assurance, infection-control, and laboratory safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of IVF cycles, laboratory procedures, cryopreserved samples, and outcomes.
- Ensure proper maintenance and monitoring of cryostorage systems.
- Coordinate with fertility specialists, nurses, counsellors, and other members of the IVF team.
- Support laboratory audits, documentation, SOP implementation, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in reviewing laboratory outcomes and identifying opportunities for process and quality improvement.
- Guide and supervise junior embryologists and laboratory staff when required.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and professional ethics.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on clinical embryology experience in an IVF/ART laboratory.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification/training in Clinical Embryology, Reproductive Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or an applicable field, in accordance with prevailing regulatory requirements.
- Solid practical experience with IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, embryo grading, vitrification, and warming.
- Good understanding of IVF laboratory quality control and quality assurance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Ability to maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary fertility team.
- Candidates with experience in a high-volume IVF/Fertility Centre will be preferred.
