About the Role:

BrightRays is looking for a Senior Content Writer to anchor our Content team as a subject-matter authority and editorial lead. This role suits an experienced storyteller who combines deep writing craft with strong judgment on brand voice, SEO strategy, and AI-augmented workflows. We are looking for someone ready to own content quality end-to-end and mentor a growing team.

Position Details:

- Role: Senior Content Writer
- Location: Sector 16 / Sector 4 (depending on team), Noida, Uttar Pradesh
- Work Model: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Compensation: ₹6-10LPA (based on experience and portfolio)
- Dress Code: Smart Casuals / Semi-Formals

- Independently plan, write, and edit long-form content (blogs, articles, website copy, email, social) across multiple niches, primarily through manual writing, using AI tools only in a limited, supporting capacity (e.g., idea generation or image generation).
- Own SEO strategy for assigned content areas, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and performance tracking using tools like Ahrefs and Semrush.
- Set and enforce editorial standards for grammar, tone, structure, and brand voice across the team's output.
- Review and refine drafts submitted by junior writers prior to their submission to the Content Manager, serving as the final quality checkpoint.
- Define and document best-practice workflows for limited, responsible AI use in content creation, and train the team on them.
- Mentor and upskill junior and associate writers on structuring, research, and tool usage.




- Partner directly with the Content Manager on content calendars, briefs, and strategic direction, not just execution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve content quality issues, inconsistencies, and escalations independently.
- Stay current on SEO tools, AI content tools, and industry trends, and apply solid, hands-on SEO expertise consistently across all content, recommending process improvements where relevant.

We're Looking For:

- 5-10 years of professional experience in content writing, copy editing, or digital publishing, with a strong portfolio spanning long-form and multi-niche writing.
- Proven experience mentoring or leading junior writers, or reviewing/editing others' work at scale.
- Expert command of grammar, punctuation, and structural flow able to spot and fix issues instantly.
- Advanced, hands-on experience with AI tools for both content generation and image generation, including building workflows around them.
- Strong working knowledge of SEO research tools (Ahrefs, Semrush) and CMS platforms.
- Ability to independently manage multiple content streams and deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Strategic thinking able to align content with brand positioning and business goals, not just execute briefs.
