Job Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in the U.S. healthcare domain, spanning one vertical such as Payer.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, gather and define requirements, and contribute to the optimization of healthcare products and services. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.

A strong understanding of Payer workflows, data standards, and regulatory frameworks is essential. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills,

comfort working in an Agile environment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities :

● Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the organization, leveraging healthcare domain expertise to understand and address healthcare IT needs effectively.

● Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements and translate them into comprehensive solutions aligned with industry standards and best practices.

● Perform gap analysis and process mapping for existing and future workflows.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and UX designers.

● Conduct feasibility studies to assess proposed solutions, considering technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with client objectives.





● Participate in client meetings and presentations, articulating the perks of healthcare IT solutions and addressing client concerns.

● Conduct market and competitive analysis to support product roadmap planning.

● Assist in data analysis and reporting using healthcare data formats (e.g., HL7, FHIR, EDI).

● Stay informed about trends, developments, and innovations in the US healthcare IT landscape and incorporate insights into sales and marketing efforts.

● Support project teams with domain-driven insights to ensure successful delivery and implementation of healthcare IT solutions.

● Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers based on evolving client needs and challenges.

Mandatory Requirements :

● Demonstrated expertise in US Healthcare IT, specifically within the Payer market.

● 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the US Healthcare Domain (mandatory).

● Strong understanding & Experience in:

○ Claims Lifecycle

○ Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

○ Pharmacy Claims

○ Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) workflows

○ Denial Management processes

○ Claims Adjudication

● Understanding of:

○ Medicare

○ Medicaid

○ Commercial Health Plans/Payers

○ CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim forms





○ EHR Workflows or Clearing House Workflows

● Hands-on experience with healthcare interoperability and data exchange standards, including:

○ EDI X12 Transactions

○ HL7

○ FHIR

○ Other healthcare data standards (mandatory)

● In-depth understanding of healthcare systems, business processes, and regulatory requirements, including:

○ HIPAA

○ HITRUST

○ Healthcare data privacy and security best practices

● Proven experience in:

○ Requirements gathering and analysis

○ Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

○ Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs)

○ User Story creation and management

○ Stakeholder communication and requirement elicitation

● Hands-on experience with business analysis and collaboration tools such as:

○ JIRA

○ Confluence

○ Microsoft Visio

○ Lucidchart

Good to Have :

● Proficiency in healthcare operational workflows and familiarity with EHR/EMR systems such as Epic, Athena, Cerner etc.

● Knowledge of value-based care, HEDIS measures, or care coordination workflows

● Understanding of the SMART on FHIR framework

● Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or healthcare domain certifications
