About the Role

We are looking for a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter) with strong experience in accounting and finance operations to join our Finance & Accounting team in Mysore.

The role will involve handling General Ledger (GL), Record to Report (R2R), account reconciliations, month-end closing, financial reporting, and accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have good accounting fundamentals, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day General Ledger (GL) and accounting activities.
- Perform Record to Report (R2R) activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, intercompany, and other account reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for financial reporting.
- Assist in preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports.
- Review accounting transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies.
- Analyze variances and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
- Support intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities.
- Assist with audit requirements, including preparation of schedules and supporting documents.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting activities in accordance with defined deadlines and SLAs.
- Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for accounting transactions.




- Work closely with internal and global stakeholders to resolve accounting-related queries.

Required Qualifications

- Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter) or equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Accounting and Finance principles.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in GL / R2R / General Accounting / Financial Accounting.
- Good knowledge of month-end closing and account reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to work from the Mysore office.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in General Ledger / R2R Accounting.
- Experience with US GAAP / IFRS is an advantage.
- Knowledge of intercompany accounting.
- Experience in financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar.
- Experience working with global / US-based finance teams.
- Knowledge of accounting controls and audit processes.
