Role & responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate store and purchase activities, including material requirements, procurement, receipt, and availability.

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, material availability, delivery schedules, and follow-ups.

- Communicate regularly with site engineers to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement and delivery.

- Monitor material movement from procurement to site and maintain proper records.

- Conduct store visits at least twice a week to physically verify material availability, stock levels, and storage conditions.

- Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records using Advanced MS Excel.

- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, stock statements, purchase trackers, material requirement reports, and vendor records.

- Track pending material requirements, purchase orders, deliveries, and shortages.

- Coordinate with the accounts and project teams regarding purchase documentation, invoices, and material-related issues.

- Identify stock discrepancies and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.





- Ensure proper documentation and systematic maintenance of SCM and store records.

Preferred candidate profile

- Master's /B.E/B.tech/Bachelor's degree in Electrcial, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

- 25 years of experience in SCM, procurement, purchase, stores, or inventory management.

- Advanced MS Excel skills are mandatory, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis, and MIS reporting.

- Valuable understanding of store and purchase processes.

- Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills.

- Good communication and coordination skills with vendors, site engineers, and internal teams.

- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.

- Ability to travel to project/store locations as required.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple material requirements simultaneously.
