SAP PS Consultant

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4 HANA PS Consultant to implement and enhance Project Systems for capital project management, investment management, project budgeting, and project-based cost controlling. The candidate must have solid cross-module integration skills and experience with S/4 HANA PS simplifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Fit-Gap / Fit-to-Standard workshops for project-to-close and investment management processes.
- Configure Project Structures: WBS elements, networks, activities, milestones, and project profiles.
- Implement Project Budgeting, Budget Control System (BCS / IM-FM integration), availability control, and budget releases.
- Configure Project Planning: cost planning, revenue planning, capacity planning, and scheduling (basic dates, network scheduling).
- Implement project procurement integration: purchase requisitions/orders assigned to WBS/network activities.
- Configure project-based billing: resource-related billing (DP90/91), milestone billing, and project results analysis.
- Implement Project Controlling: actual cost postings, settlements (WBS to AUC to final asset), and variance analysis.
- Set up Investment Management (IM): investment programs,



appropriation requests, and capitalization of AUC.
- Configure Project Information System (PS reporting) and Fiori-based project dashboards.
- Integrate PS with FI (settlement, capitalisation), CO (cost object controlling), MM (procurement), SD (billing), and PP (capacity).
- Support data migration of open projects, WBS hierarchies, and budget carry-forwards.
- Deliver SIT, UAT, cutover, and post go-live hypercare.

Required Skills & Expertise

- Strong SAP PS configuration: WBS, networks, milestones, project profiles, and planning boards.
- Deep expertise in project cost controlling: settlements, results analysis (RA), and revenue recognition.
- Experience with Investment Management (IM) and AUC / asset capitalisation flows.
- Knowledge of S/4 HANA PS simplifications and Fiori apps (Manage Projects, Project Cost Overview).
- Budget Control System (BCS) and availability control configuration.
- Integration skills across FI-AA, CO-CCA, MM-Procurement, SD-Billing, and PP-Capacity.
- Experience with SAP CPM (Commercial Project Management) or SAP PPM is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for project performance reporting.

Preferred Certifications

- SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4 HANA Project Systems
- SAP Certified Application Associate SAP Project and Portfolio Management (advantageous)
