SAP FI-CA / FICA Consultant – Data Archiving & BRIM

Experience

6–18+ years of SAP experience, with solid hands-on experience in SAP FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable).

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI-CA Consultant with strong expertise in FI-CA business processes, data archiving, and SAP BRIM integration. The candidate should have experience in implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing FI-CA solutions, preferably in high-volume environments.

The role requires strong knowledge of Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable, payment processing, invoicing, clearing, dunning, collections, write-offs, and integration with SAP BRIM and other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, implement, and support SAP FI-CA solutions.

Work on FI-CA processes including:

Business Partner / Contract Account

Open item management

Invoicing

Incoming/outgoing payments

Payment lots

Clearing and reconciliation

Dunning

Collections

Write-offs

Returns

Account balance and account maintenance

Configure and support FI-CA integration with SAP BRIM components.

Work with SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI)



and Convergent Charging (CC) where applicable.

Support integration between BRIM and FI-CA for billing, invoicing, receivables, payments, and financial postings.

Design and execute SAP data archiving strategies for FI-CA data.

Analyze data volumes and identify appropriate archiving objects, retention requirements, dependencies, and deletion procedures.

Perform archiving activities including write, delete, reload/read/access, where applicable.

Ensure archived data remains accessible for audit, reporting, and business requirements.

Support S/4HANA / SAP ERP data archiving and migration activities.

Work with technical teams on archiving jobs, variants, dependencies, storage and performance.

Analyze FI-CA issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.

Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces and reports.

Coordinate with ABAP, Basis, integration and business teams.

Participate in SIT/UAT, defect resolution, cutover and production support.

Prepare functional documentation and support knowledge transfer.
