We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with robust expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA Database, and Sybase ASE administration. The candidate will be responsible for SAP landscape administration, system performance optimization, database management, high availability setups, disaster recovery configurations, and end-to-end SAP Basis support activities.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Basis Administration
- Manage SAP NetWeaver and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Perform SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Execute SAP kernel upgrades and support package implementations.
- Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS).
- Implement SAP Notes and add-ons.
- Conduct system refresh activities using production database copies.
- Perform batch job and spool administration.
- Monitor SAP systems for health, availability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot SAP Basis-related issues and optimize system performance.
- Administer SAP Web Dispatcher.
- Manage SSL certificates and SSO configurations.
- Support OpenText integration activities.
- Handle Linux cron jobs and scheduling activities.
SAP HANA & Sybase Database Administration
- Administration and maintenance of SAP HANA 2.0 and Sybase ASE databases.
- Database backup, restore, and recovery activities.
- HANA and Sybase patching and version upgrades.
- Performance monitoring and tuning of SAP HANA systems.
- User and role administration in SAP HANA.
- SAP HANA security management.
- Troubleshooting database-related issues.
- Experience with HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and MaxDB will be an added advantage.
High Availability & Disaster Recovery
- Configure and support HANA System Replication.
- Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) and Data Center (DC) replication setups.
- Monitor HA/DR environments.
- Support business continuity and recovery processes.
SAP Solution Manager
- Installation and configuration of SAP Solution Manager from scratch.
- Managed System Configuration.
- LMDB setup and troubleshooting.
- Early Watch Alert (EWA) setup and monitoring.
- General Solution Manager administration activities.
