Role Description As a SAP ABAP Developer at Avenoir, you will design, develop, and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP and related technologies. You will collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coding, unit testing, debugging, performance optimization, and documenting technical designs, as well as supporting integration projects with other enterprise systems. You will participate in code reviews, follow Avenoir’s delivery framework and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the SAP landscape. This is a full time remote role,



requiring effective communication, proactive ownership, and the ability to work with distributed teams.

Qualifications

- Strong SAP ABAP development skills, including reports, forms (SmartForms/Adobe), enhancements, User Exits/BADIs, and performance optimization.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies such as IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services, ideally in collaboration with integration platforms like MuleSoft.
- Knowledge of core SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO) and ability to work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in modern development practices, including version control, unit testing, debugging, and adherence to clean coding standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on reliable, maintainable solutions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional, and cross-time-zone teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in consulting or client-facing roles, and familiarity with agile or iterative delivery frameworks, is an advantage.
- Relevant SAP certifications or substantial hands-on project experience in SAP ABAP and related technologies are highly beneficial
