Required Experience

● 3+ years of Salesforce implementation or consulting experience.

● Experience with Salesforce Quote-to-Cash, CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or Revenue Cloud

Advanced implementations.

● Solid understanding of Quote-to-Cash business processes.

● Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience.

● Experience translating business requirements into Salesforce solutions.

● Experience creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

● Experience working within Agile delivery teams.

● Experience supporting functional testing and UAT.

● Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills.

● Ability to independently own functional work with architectural oversight.

Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including:

● Salesforce data model

● Flow and automation

● Lightning configuration

Revenue Cloud Discovery & Process Design

● Participate in and facilitate Quote-to-Cash discovery and design workshops.

● Understand current-state processes across:

○ Product and catalog management

○ Pricing

○ Quoting

○ Amendments

○ Renewals

○ Contract lifecycle

○ Order creation and orchestration

○ Downstream billing handoffs

● Translate business requirements into actionable RCA functional requirements.





● Identify legacy processes that should be redesigned rather than recreated.

● Document business rules, decisions, dependencies, exceptions, and unresolved questions.

● Partner with the RCA Architect to develop scalable future-state processes using standard Revenue Cloud capabilities wherever possible.

RCA Functional Implementation

● Perform hands-on configuration within Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced.

● Configure and support capabilities related to:

○ Product catalog

○ Product structures and relationships

○ Pricing

○ Product configuration

○ Quote creation and management

○ Amendments and renewals

○ Contracts

○ Orders

○ Revenue lifecycle processes

● Translate architectural direction into executable configuration and functional requirements.

● Understand when requirements can be solved through standard configuration versus when architectural or technical intervention is required.

● Work closely with developers on requirements requiring custom development.

User Stories & Backlog

● Create and refine detailed RCA user stories.

● Develop clear, testable acceptance criteria.





● Ensure stories reflect the intended end-to-end business process rather than isolated system functionality.

● Participate in refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

● Identify dependencies between RCA, RCB, integrations, data migration, and other

Salesforce workstreams.

● Ensure stories are sufficiently understood and designed before development begins.

Testing & Validation

● Develop functional test scenarios based on Quote-to-Cash business processes.

● Validate completed configuration and development against acceptance criteria.

● Perform functional testing of RCA functionality.

● Support system integration testing and UAT.

● Support end-to-end testing across quoting, contracting, ordering, integrations, and downstream billing processes.

● Triage defects and distinguish between defects, requirement gaps, configuration issues,

and change requests.

Client & Workstream Ownership

● Serve as a day-to-day functional Revenue Cloud partner for client stakeholders.

● Own assigned RCA deliverables from requirements through validation.

● Facilitate working sessions and solution demonstrations.

● Proactively identify and communicate blockers, dependencies, risks, and required decisions.

● Coordinate closely with RCA/RCB architects, developers, data migration, integration,

QA, and project leadership.

● Maintain clear documentation and evidence of decisions, requirements, testing, and delivered functionality.
