Role: Sales Engineer (Industrial Automation)

Location: Pune.

Position Overview:

In this role you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying customer needs, proposing suitable automation solutions, and promoting Festo’s product portfolio. This role requires a combination of technical understanding and strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory.

· Engage with customers to understand automation requirements and propose Festo solutions.

· Promote Festo products such as pneumatics, electric automation, valves, sensors, and motion control systems.

· Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demos, and solution proposals.

· Support customers in product selection, sizing, and application requirements.

· Work closely with application and technical teams to deliver solution‑based selling.

· Manage the entire sales cycle enquiry generation, quotations, negotiations, and order closure.

· Maintain relationships with existing customers and ensure long‑term business growth.





· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.

· Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.

· 0–3 years of experience in industrial automation sales, technical sales, or B2B engineering sales.

· Solid understanding of pneumatics, electro‑pneumatics, sensors, and automation systems.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer‑centric solutions.

· Self‑motivated, target‑oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
