Position: SHE Manager (Safety, Health & Environment) Industry: Railway & Metro Projects

Experience: 10+ Years

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or relevant field

Location: Mumbai/Pune, Maharashtra India

We are looking for an experienced SHE Manager to manage Safety, Health & Environment activities for Railway and Metro Projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe project execution, statutory compliance, and implementation of SHE standards across railway and metro construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall SHE activities for Railway & Metro projects.
- Implement project-specific SHE plans, procedures and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Monitor safety during track works, station works, viaduct works, tunnelling, excavation, lifting operations, welding, electrical works and other railway/metro activities.
- Ensure proper use of PPE, safety equipment and emergency arrangements.




- Monitor compliance with Railway/Metro client requirements and statutory HSE regulations.
- Coordinate with Client, PMC, Consultants, Project Team and Subcontractors on SHE matters.

Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Safety, Occupational Health or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Railway & Metro Projects.
- Strong experience in Railway/Metro construction safety management.
- Positive knowledge of Risk Assessment, PTW, JSA/JHA, Incident Investigation and Safety Audits.
- Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.
- NEBOSH / IOSH / Safety certification will be an added advantage.
