Requirements

- ~5 years professional software engineering experience, including real production support responsibility (not just greenfield feature work)
- Robust hands-on Ruby on Rails experience ActiveRecord, background jobs, testing,

debugging production issues
- Prior experience working in a multi-tenant software system — you should already understand the concept and its failure modes (data isolation, tenant-scoped queries, noisy-

neighbor issues); we will not be teaching this concept from scratch on a live client system
- Strong, independent SQL ability — comfortable writing non-trivial queries against production data for reporting and diagnostics, not just via an ORM
- Comfortable scripting in Python for automation/data tasks
- Practical Git/GitHub and CI/CD experience
- Full-stack: backend in Rails
- Strong analytical/debugging ability — can trace an issue through a live system under some time pressure, since this role includes customer-facing production support.
