Purpose / Mission of the Role

Responsible for providing technical excellence in the processing, design, engineering activities related to rotary and packages, to ensure objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed timeframe & budget.

Key Stakeholders

Vendors: Suppliers of boilers, turbines, compressors, pumps, agitators, ACHE, injection packages, ash/coal handling systems, water treatment, and effluent treatment plants. Clients: End customers who review technical comparisons, approve solutions, and provide final ordering decisions.

Role Responsibilities

1. Identify the vendors for package items such as Boiler, Turbine, Compressor, Rotary Items (Pumps, Agitators, ACHE), Injection Packages, Ash Handling, Coal Handling, Plant Electricals, Water Treatment Plant, Effluent Treatment Plant and other auxilleries required for the main SAF process plant.
2. Coordination of team for submission of enquiry document to vendor or client for package items.
3. Review of vendor offers and submit the technical comparison to client for final ordering.
4. Provide support to BDN / Proposal team for package items.
5. Attend Design review meetings, technical audits. Compilation of final reply / clarification/ technical solutions for each points for OSBL packages.
6. Ensure coordination till commissioning of the projects.
7. Participate in the Business Unit / Management reviews / meetings & reviews with Clients. 8. Close co-ordination with basic engineering team for inputs for package items.

Primary Skills (Must Have)

- Compressors, Flyers (ground/elevated any),Fired Heater (Compressors & Fired heaters are must have)
- This person leads the selection and technical review of major rotating machines and equipment packages-Vendor selection, vendor auditing
- He will be the SPOC for Rotary & package, considering the Piping, process, instrumentation
- Exposure to international market is required like Europe/UK- Awareness of Legal aspects as well
- Team Handling exp
- Travel to vendor place can be there

Education

- Diploma holders can be considered
- BE Mechanical / Chemical
