Role & responsibilities :

- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and overdue invoices.

- Maintain and regularly update the customer outstanding / ageing report.

- Coordinate with Sales, Billing, Accounts, and Plant teams regarding customer accounts.

- Visit customer sites and offices for payment follow-up and collection.

- Ensure timely collection as per agreed credit terms and payment schedules.

- Share invoices, statements of accounts, payment details, and supporting documents with customers.

- Identify delayed payments and escalate critical outstanding cases to management.

- Coordinate with customers regarding invoice disputes, deductions, credit notes, debit notes, and reconciliation issues.

- Maintain proper records of collection commitments and follow-up status.

- Prepare daily/weekly collection reports and submit them to management.

- Monitor customer credit limits and inform management about potential collection risks.

- Coordinate with the Sales Team for recovery of long-pending outstanding amounts.





- Ensure timely updating of received payments in coordination with the Accounts Department.

- Maintain skilled relationships with customers while ensuring timely recovery.

- Perform other collection and commercial activities assigned by management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in B.Com / M.Com / BBA / Finance or equivalent.

- 25 years of experience in collections, receivables, accounts, or commercial operations.

- RMC / Construction / Infrastructure industry experience will be preferred.

- Strong knowledge of customer outstanding and ageing analysis.

- Good communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

- Comfortable with customer/site visits for payment collection.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.

- Ability to handle multiple customers and follow-ups independently.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a result-oriented approach.

- Candidate should be willing to travel within Mumbai / Thane / Navi Mumbai / surrounding areas, as required.
