Location: RM Restaurant, RM Mall, Cuddalore Main Road, Murungapakkam, Pondicherry
Walk-in Interview: Monday to Friday
Interview Time: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide courteous and professional service.
- Take customer orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen team.
- Serve food and beverages to customers promptly.
- Generate bills accurately using the restaurant billing/POS system.
- Handle cash, UPI, card, and other payment transactions responsibly.
- Maintain accurate billing and payment records.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Clear and reset tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Respond to customer queries and assist with their requirements.
- Handle basic customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to the supervisor when required.
- Ensure the billing counter and service area are clean and organised.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming, and restaurant service standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Management.
Requirements
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Basic computer/POS and cash-handling knowledge.
- Positive numerical and billing skills.
- Polite, presentable, punctual, and customer-friendly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Previous restaurant billing or serving experience is preferred.
- Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
