We are currently hiring for the position of Senior Research Scientist CDMO Agro with Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, based in Greater Noida.

Position: Senior Research Scientist – CDMO Agro

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop Pharma and Agrochemical intermediates through chemical synthesis.
- Work on multi-step synthesis, process development and optimization.
- Conduct literature searches and route scouting for process development.
- Develop processes at gram scale and support scale-up to plant/commercial level.
- Prepare technology transfer/process documentation and technology packages.
- Synthesize and isolate impurities for characterization.
- Work on process optimization, solvent/catalyst recyclability, MOC studies and cost reduction.
- Handle specialty chemicals, heterocyclic compounds and complex organic chemistry.
- Work on Grignard, lithiation, cyclization, condensation, elimination and reduction reactions.




- Exposure to halogenation reactions such as chlorination, fluorination, Halex and bromination.
- Exposure to pressure reactions, piloting and commissioning.
- Experience/exposure to vapor-phase and continuous processes would be an advantage.
- Follow GLP practices for sample preparation, impurity isolation and characterization.

Desired Experience: Candidates with strong experience in Process R&D; / Process Development / Chemical Synthesis, particularly in Pharma, Agrochemical, Specialty Chemical or CDMO environments, would be preferred.

Good to have: Exposure to Diketene chemistry and industrial-scale process development.
