Job Title: Regulatory Specialist (Product & Ingredient )

Location: Kolkata (Onsite - Work from Office)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Affairs skilled to own product regulatory compliance across international markets , covering formulations, ingredients, labeling, claims, packaging, and registrations. The role will work closely with NPD/R&D;, Finance & Legal, and external regulatory partners to enable compliant and timely launches.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own product and ingredient regulatory assessment across international markets, including permitted ingredients, concentration limits, and banned-substance requirements.
- Identify regulatory gaps and drive formulation changes/reformulation with NPD/R&D; to meet market-entry requirements.
- Lead product registration and notification processes with relevant regulatory authorities across target markets.
- Review and ensure compliance of product labels, claims, packaging, and marketing content with local regulations.
- Own market-wise regulatory dossiers, safety certifications, test reports, and compliance documentation .
- Track and manage renewal timelines for registrations, certifications, and regulatory approvals .
- Partner with International Finance & Legal teams to ensure end-to-end market-entry compliance.
- Work closely with NPD/R&D; and ingredient sourcing teams on regulatory implications of formulations,



raw materials, and product changes.
- Monitor regulatory changes across markets and proactively assess risks, launch implications, and timelines .
- Support regulatory strategy for new product launches and international market expansion .

Preferred Skills & Know-how:

- Strong expertise in Product Regulatory Affairs, Ingredient Compliance, Product Registration, Labeling, and Claims Compliance .
- Good understanding of international regulatory frameworks for Personal Care, Beauty, Cosmetics, FMCG, or Consumer Products.
- Strong capability in formulation and ingredient assessment , including regulatory restrictions and market-specific requirements.
- Experience managing regulatory documentation, registrations, certifications, and external regulatory consultants .
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, risk assessment, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Experience Requirements:

- 5–7 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs/Product Compliance, with exposure to international markets.
- Proven experience in formulation and ingredient review, labeling/claims compliance, and product registration/notification .
- Experience in Personal Care, Beauty, Cosmetics, FMCG, or Consumer Goods , with cross-functional exposure to NPD/R&D;, Legal, Finance, or Quality teams.
