No expensive gear, no laptop, no paid software. If you can shoot and cut great reels on your phone, you're who we want.

We're a growing consumer brand in Calicut, and we're looking for one person to shoot and edit our short-form videos, entirely on a smartphone. Most of the content is in Malayalam, plus some English ad videos.

Freshers are very welcome. If you've been making reels for your own page, a friend's shop or just for fun, and they're good, that counts as experience here.

This is an in-person role in Kozhikode (Calicut). It is not remote.

What you'll be doing

- Shooting and editing Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, mostly in Malayalam
- Home and family vlog / entertainment videos. Sometimes we'll shoot and hand you the footage; sometimes you'll shoot it yourself
- Product demos and behind-the-scenes videos
- Video ad creatives (video only, in Malayalam and English)
- Editing talking-head and vlog segments where the founder speaks on camera
- Turning our scripts and content plans into finished videos
- Producing a steady weekly flow of reels and shorts, plus one longer video each week

You won't be doing static posters or graphic design. Posting to YouTube is optional; we can handle that ourselves.

What we're looking for

- You shoot and edit on your phone, and you're good at it
- You're comfortable with mobile editing apps like CapCut, VN or InShot
- You understand reels: a strong hook in the first 2 seconds, fast cuts, clean captions, music that hits on the beat
- You keep up with trends and know what's working on Instagram right now




- You speak Malayalam fluently and understand what Malayali audiences find funny, relatable or worth sharing
- You can frame vertical video properly and get clean audio on a phone
- You can live in or travel daily to Calicut
- Being comfortable on camera yourself is a bonus, but not required

What you need to bring: your own smartphone that shoots decent video. That's it. We'll give you a phone tripod, a clip-on mic and a ring light if you need them. Pay (you choose the option that suits you)

- Option A: ₹10,000/month + free shared room. The room is at the same place you'll work, so there's no commute and no rent. Food is not included.
- Option B: ₹15,000/month, no accommodation.

There's a 3-month probation period with a salary review at the end of it.

Schedule

- Monday to Saturday, 9 AM – 5 PM
- Being honest: because some of the content is home and family vlogging, the best moments sometimes happen outside those hours. That will be occasional, not every day, and we'll talk it through with you.
