We are currently hiring for the position of Quantity Surveyor, a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization working towards transforming rural education in India.

Location: Bangalore
Reporting To: Engineering Head
Experience: 45+ years
Qualification: Civil Engineering Degree
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of project estimates, BOQ and rate analysis.
- Preparation of tender documents and floating of tenders.
- Preparation of comparative statements.
- Preparation of contract documents.
- Supporting negotiations with contractors.
- Preparation of tender committee recommendations.
- Preparation and issue of work orders / purchase orders to vendors.
- Coordinating with architects and structural engineers for drawings.
- Issuing drawings to contractors.
- Verification of contractor running and final bills.
- Preparation of COP for release of payments.
- Uploading drawings and quality documents to Google Drive.
- Tracking and updating project schedules.
- Coordinating with the operations team for project schedule updates.
Candidate Profile
- Civil Engineering graduate with 4–5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
- Experience in institutional/public building construction and contractor management.
- Ability to handle multiple projects across different geographies.
- Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and negotiation skills.
- English and Hindi language skills are required.
- High integrity with strong commitment to transparency and accountability.
- Candidates should have an inclination towards social service and children's education and an interest in building their career in the NGO/social sector.
