Core Responsibilities

- Understand and analyse software requirements and use cases to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated test cases to verify application functionality, usability, and performance.
- Log, track, and re-test defects using standard defect management tools (e.g., JIRA or OpenProject).
- Conduct regression, integration, and functional testing across different platforms and devices.
- Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries.
- Support test planning activities and contribute to test documentation and reports.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Ensure testing activities are conducted in compliance with the teams processes and standards.
- Analyse root causes of issues and communicate effectively with technical teams.





Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience with manual testing, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with Security Testing, Performance Testing, DB and API Testing tools.
- Basic understanding of SQL queries for validating backend data.
- Exposure to both Linux and Windows environments.

Desired Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing certification (preferred).
- Exposure to version control systems like Git.
- Valuable documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
