Role & responsibilities
- Perform quality inspection of fabricated steel structures/ Steel Fabrication/ Structural Steel components.
- Inspect incoming raw materials, fabrication processes and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and quality standards.
- Conduct dimensional inspection of structural steel members, assemblies and welded components.
- Monitor welding quality, fit-up, alignment and fabrication activities.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to resolve quality issues.
- Review welding procedures, WPS/PQR and welder qualification records.
Preferred candidate profile
Comfortable For Rotational Shifts (9 hours) including Break
- 2-7 years of experience in Quality Engineering
- Experience in Steel Structures, or Heavy Engineering, PEB industry is mandatory
- Good knowledge of quality inspection, QA/QC processes, and engineering standards
- Solid understanding of fabrication and structural quality practices
