Roles and Responsibilities :

- Prepare detailed estimates of construction costs, including material lists, labor rates, and equipment rental fees.

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential cost savings opportunities.

- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate prices and improve service quality.

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to estimate costs accurately.

Job Requirements :

- 4-11 years of experience in quantity surveying or related field.

- Robust knowledge of cost estimation techniques and principles.

- Ability to prepare comprehensive estimates using specialized software (e.g. CostX).

- Excellent communication skills for effective vendor negotiation.
