Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee, manage, and elevate the quality standards of our plastic manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will ensure that raw materials, in-process components, and finished plastic products comply with both internal excellence and international regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete responsibility for Quality Control activities on the shop floor.
- Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000 requirements, GMP, hygiene and food-safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of production areas and ensure that required QC procedures are actually being followed.
- Control incoming raw material, in-process production and finished-product quality.
- Establish and monitor product specifications, inspection standards and acceptance criteria.
- Handle non-conformities, root-cause analysis, CAPA and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper traceability and batch identification from raw material to finished product.
- Maintain and improve QC documentation, SOPs, checklists and records.
- Prepare the plant for FSSC 22000, customer and internal audits.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure audit observations are closed within defined timelines.
- Monitor GMP,



housekeeping, hygiene, pest-control and contamination-prevention practices.
- Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Investigate customer complaints and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and Management to continuously improve product quality.
- Train operators and production staff on quality requirements, hygiene and SOP compliance.
- Develop a strong quality culture at the operator and shop-floor level.

Candidate Profile

We are specifically looking for someone who is:
- Hands-on and shop-floor oriented willing to spend significant time inside the production plant rather than only managing documentation.
- Experienced in FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 / food-safety management systems.
- Experienced in plastic manufacturing, injection moulding, flexible packaging, food-contact packaging or a related manufacturing industry.
- Robust in QC systems, root-cause analysis, CAPA and process control.
- Capable of independently handling customer, certification and internal audits.
- Able to identify problems on the production floor and drive corrective action with the production team.
- Disciplined in documentation while maintaining a strong practical approach to quality.
