Job Title: QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer Experience: 3 to 8 Years
Required Experience:
- 3-8 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong expertise in UI and API automation testing using Selenium or Playwright with Java (Playwright will provide an advantage).
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and automation framework design principles.
- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency in Git, Jira and qTest (or equivalent tools).
- Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities/Skills Required
- Good knowledge of Java and OO software design principles.
- Experience with TDD, BDD, Gherkin and Cucumber.
- Define and drive QA strategy, test plans and automation standards.
- Review test cases, scripts and defect reports; track automation coverage and quality metrics.
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills across manual and automated testing, including defect root-cause analysis and CI/CD pipeline failures.
- Collaborate with Dev, Product, and DevOps for seamless delivery.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix OS and Maven build lifecycle.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker).
- Good analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Maven and the build lifecycle.
- Good to have: a scripting language (Bash, Python) and performance/monitoring tools (Prometheus, Gatling, JMeter).
Work Model: 4 days in a week work from office Location: ITPL, Whitefield
